SCR technology is based on the purification of exhaust gases by adding an AdBlue solution. This solution is injected into the exhaust gases before they pass through the catalytic converter. This additive causes the decomposition of nitrogen oxides to gaseous nitrogen and water vapor - natural natural substances.

Since the AdBlue solution is sensitive to temperature, the AdBlue tank is heated by means of a heating circuit in which the coolant circulates. This allows the system to be used in winter, at sub-zero temperatures.
